Had the privilege of delivering a CME lecture on "Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUPS) in Primary Care: A Biopsychosocial Approach to Evaluation and Management" for fellow healthcare professionals. The session focused on the often-overlooked relationship between physical symptoms and mental health, highlighting how anxiety, depression, stress, and other psychological factors can contribute to persistent physical complaints despite normal medical investigations. It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss practical approaches for early recognition, effective communication, and collaborative management of patients presenting with medically unexplained symptoms in routine clinical practice.
