Complicated UTI with sepsis. Emphysematous pyelonephritis. This condition is more common in diabetes. It leads to sepsis and even death if not acted promptly. It usually occurs due to gas forming bacteria with lethal kidney infection. Patient needs Critical care support and cystoscopy with dj stenting or per cutaneous nephrostomy and sometimes nephrectomy.
