Matter Raises ₹240 Crore in Fresh Growth Capital Matter has raised ₹240 crore (~$25M) in fresh growth capital from existing investors increasing their commitment, taking total capital raised to approximately ₹1,000 crore. Over ₹750 crore has already been deployed into R&D, product development, manufacturing, and market build-up. Over four years, this capital has built a ground-up geared electric motorcycle — powertrain, battery systems, control electronics, and software designed in-house and manufactured at our own facility in Ahmedabad. This includes HyperShift, India's first manual gearbox on an electric motorcycle, backed by 111 granted patents and over 10 million real-world kilometres on the AERA. This funding will support: Scaling monthly production capacity to 1,000 motorcycles, and onward to 2,500 Expanding retail presence across India's motorcycling heartland Development of four new motorcycles on the AERA platform over the next 12-24 months The engineering was proven before the funding.
